Instant Pot Berry Cobbler
This Instant Pot Berry Cobbler is an amazing berry crisp recipe that is simple to make and absolutely delicious!

This week I asked my kids which dessert recipe to share with y’all.
Hands down this berry cobbler is the pressure cooker dessert that won the vote. It’s a huge hit around here. Every time we make this they inhale it!
Plus this recipe is ridiculously easy to adapt to gluten-free (just use gluten-free oats). With two of our family members on a gluten-free diet, it makes this berry crisp a big win!
Instant Pot Berry Cobbler Recipe
When it comes to making this recipe there are two methods that can be used: Pot in Pot (PiP) or ramekins.
I personally prefer the ramekins because it’s easier to tell my kids that they all got an equal share. ha.
However, if you choose to do this PiP style, the method is just about the same.
Same cook time, same ingredients.
The only main difference is that it is all being cooked in one dish rather than smaller individual dishes.
If you choose to use the ramekins there are some tricks…
Check the stability of your steaming rack before placing the ramekins filled with berry cobbler on top of it. The ramekins might shake around a bit once the pressure cooker comes to pressure (boiling water and all) so you want to make sure that it’s good and stable. Otherwise, you might end up with a berry mess.
Another sanity-saver is this nifty little tool that will help you lift a hot ramekin out of a steaming pressure cooker without burning your hands. Those little cups can be a bugger sometimes. If you don’t plan on using this tool, don’t worry – just remember to let the cups cool down a bit before you try to remove them.
